I LOVED THIS APP!!!

So this app is awesome for learning new Japanese mostly because of the difficulties. The only problem I have with it that doesnt make it a 5 star is the errors. For some of them there is no possible correct answer like for example: I went. The answer would be "watashi wa itta. Where as the choices to form that correct answer is not there.

Really great app to learn basic Japanese !

I purchased the full pack for Christmas after having evaluated the app for more than 2 months. I am from France and attempt to learn Japanese. I have to say that the app is very pleasant to use and quite efficient. I am a rather slow learner but being able to replay theme lessons, to follow daily lessons, or to switch between romanji and hiragana / katakana / kanji has helped me feel a great sense of progress. The design / look and feel is very pretty. I also regularly use duolingo for English and German, but Mondlys user interface is way nicer. I also asked the support team for help two days ago and got my answer (with the working solution) less than 24 hrs after. Great app for anyone wishing to be serious about learning a foreign language. Thank you Mondlys team, keep it up to remain on the top of my apps list

What can I say? A perfect learning app I have ever seen except a little repetition make it looks like more stupid ~

Im quite impressed with this app. It is a great app for the beginner and even has some value for higher level speakers. I myself am an intermediate level speaker and have found this useful for learning new words. This is furthered by incorporating these new words into sentence patterns. Excite your mind with Mondly! Ｍｏｎｄｌｙはすごいね！

This app is truly a must have if you want to learn a new language. The UI is great. The system and the method used to teach you the language is also very well designed. Honestly a 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and best language learning app ive seen!

I tried this app hoping to help supplement my Japanese learning. Just looking at it, the format is clean cut, modern, and very beautiful. The cheesy stock photos were also very entertaining. Unfortunately, the app seemed to jump right in to conversation, not really explaining sentence structure and didnt have opportunities to learn kana, kanji, Kun or On Yomi, and did not explain grammar from the get go. If you are trying to learn Japanese quickly, a few phrases and simple sentences to help you navigate Japan, this app will work for you. However, if you are looking for explanations and grammar and a more complete and in- depth approach to learning a language, I suggest trying something else. I do applaud the layout of this app, and respect the audio cues, but this app will not work for everyone. I would gladly suggest downloading it and giving it a chance.

Maybe this app works ok for same type alphabets but for Japanese, its terrible. • its all in romaji - this does not help learn Japanese • the romaji does not conform to the Japanese government standard • Japanese doesnt use spaces, yet this app forces you to use them • space usage is inconsistent and Ive missed questions simply because I didnt put a space or I did • never never should a question be marked wrong for punctuation unless its extremely important and with the way they do it with Japanese, its definitely not important • the audio samples are often clipped too much on one side or another, losing part of it. such sloppy work • a few audio samples were flat out the wrong thing. Four has two core pronunciations, yon, and shi, and shi is rarely used by itself. Yet the sample said yon and the answer was shi In general, they just slapped Japanese in there with no real sense of continuity, ease of use, accuracy, and quality. Their Q&A department for this language should be fired. Look elsewhere if you really want to learn Japanese.

If I wasnt a broke college kid I would buy the full app but for now Im stuck with the limited version. Its so easy to make words stick in your head quick and easy it feels like youre playing a game almost I love this app and it is absolutely genius Im going to be learning a lot of Japanese and Im ready!!

Its cool, very helpful with phrases, but not really if you want to know the words separately and when they should be used. It also doesnt tell you what the symbols for the phrases are either
